It'd been snowing a lot in Bologna before the Christmas. Traffic (roads, trains and flights) were heavily disrupted, although it was mostly due to bad management and coordination. For example, our flight from Paris CDG to Bologna was cancelled not because it was snowing in Bologna at the time we flew, but because Bologna airport did not ran out of anti-frozen fluid and could not keep the runway clean for landing and taking-off. But I bet Bologna airport wasn't the only badly managed airport in Europe. Paris CDG was equally badly managed in such a way that even if we had a hotel room reserved for us, we could not go there to rest:-( Anyway, this is life. There was some positive aspect of the snowy weather, though - everything became more scenic and beautiful. Here are the photos.
